A.G.A.R.S.S. Pty Ltd. is an international
consultancy which provides a range of specialist services to the mineral exploration and
mining industries. The company offers widespread experience in exploration and project
management, technical audits, due diligence and evaluations. A.G.A.R.S.S. also specialises
in the application of remote sensing to mineral exploration and is the only commercial
outlet for Geoscan Airborne Multi-Spectral data. The company also supplies, processes and
interprets satellite and other data sets.
In particular, A.G.A.R.S.S. specialises in the
application of a range of modern technologies to mineral exploration and are world leaders
in the use of satellite and airborne remote sensing technologies, with a particular
emphasis on multispectral and hyperspectral data. Advanced image processing and
analysis of such data is used to locate and characterise hydrothermal alteration
signatures associated with mineral deposits and ultimately to separate out and map the
distribution of key alteration minerals.
A.G.A.R.S.S. has also demonstrated experience in the
use of satellite and airborne radar as well as ground and airborne geophysical
technologies such as aeromagnetics, radiometrics, electro-magnetics, induced
polarization and resistivity. The company occupies a middle position between the end
user client and data suppliers and so is able to independently advise explorers of the
optimum solution to their particular exploration problem.
