| What are Foreign Country Reviews and Overseas Start-up? AGARSS
maintain a constant watch on socio-political and economic developments in many countries
throughout the world and as such are well positioned to carry out detailed analysis of
emerging markets from the perspective of investment risk versus economic potential. Not
only are geological factors considered when evaluating a country as a potential target for
mineral exploration and investment, but many other factors including mining culture,
mineral law, investment laws, expatriation of profits, foreign currency rules, taxation,
labour laws, industrial relations, environmental issues and sovereign risk are all
considered as part of the equation. AGARSS has been involved in reviews of, and the
establishment of operations in a number of countries for several different clients.
